SOUTHCO - 6-302 - Hardware, Magnetic Door Latch.
Gain a lot of flexibility in applications where you can use these magnetic fastening latches instead of mechanically actuated latches. They are spring loaded for added versativity, are great for light or heavy sheet metal doors and enclosures, tolerate misalignment, and can even be used with non-metallic enclosures by adding a steel strike plate.
A heavy duty magnet 1.23" long x 0.36" thick including steel sides, with a heavy duty spring loaded push button 0.3"square that will push your door open when you push on it.
Will require a mating 1/4" or larger steel tab on door cabinet, when pushed the magnet pulls back.
Dimensions: 3" long x 1" x 0.5" thick.
Materal: Tough Polypropylene
Mounts with two slots approximately 2.7" apart.
Note: Spring loaded to push open.
